While a huge DW fan, obviously otherwise what the balls am I doing with this silly blog, I have to say the overuse of the deus ex Screwdriver is my largest pet peeve of new who. Hardly a ten minute segment goes by where the doctor doesn’t use it, whether casually because he can’t be bothered to open a door with his hands, or when he straight up wins the fight of the week with a reasonably accurately aimed wave of the hand.
The heart of this video is the same thesis. The sonic screwdriver is seriously OP. This is the true danger of a DW MMO, not that everyone wants to be a timelord. Although fuck, I just realized how cool a DW game would be, where everytime you died, you regenerated and had to reroll your character, which arguably is the best part of an MMO experience, but I digress.
